Bergmen Consulting is looking for a proactive and passionate, Project Manager with a solid track records of successful implementations and integrations of business solutions. S/he will play a front role in delivering technology innovation within the travel and hospitality industry.

The Project Manager will be primarily responsible for planning, coordination, and reporting on progress, risks, issues and dependencies of, project tasks and milestones, as well as proactively identifying and evaluating solutions to overcome risks and issues.

Experience in the travel and hospitality industry is preferred, but not required.

Most engagements will require travel within the US and EU.

Responsibilities
  • Learn about customers' business, vision and challenges.
  • Lead the delivery of complex IT projects for airline customers.
  • Identify and manage risks constantly.
  • Proactively propose solutions to risks and issues.
  • Help business analysts and QA leads with documentation.
  • Ensure completeness and quality of deliverables.
  • Track budget.
  • Participate in refining the company's delivery framework.
  • Build and maintain project collaboration spaces.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience as an IT project manager in a corporate environment.
  • Solid track record of successful implementations and integrations of business systems.
  • Solid understanding of project governance and processes.
  • Proven risk management skills.
  • Able to proposes solutions to roadblocks.
  • Not afraid of walking the extra mile to keep project on track.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Very positive. Strong people skills.
  • Experience in the travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Master’s degree in IT preferred.
Other Info
  • May require up to 80% traveling on certain engagements.
  • Working remotely is usually OK.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US and/or EU.
